Our story
The name is the promise
Magau (मगाऊ) is a Nepali verb. It means: send for it, and it is brought to you. That single word is the whole idea of the company. You want something, you ask for it, and it arrives at your door. Today that is food from restaurants and home kitchens, and groceries from stores near you.
The mark
The Pagoda-M
Look closely and the mark is an M built from two Nepali pagoda roof-slopes. It reads three ways at once: a temple on the skyline, a rooftop over a home, and a doorway you can step through.
In the doorway sits a single marigold doorstep dot. That is the moment of arrival, the knock at the gate, the thing you asked for finally in your hands. It is deliberately not a bowl, a bag or a scooter. Nothing about the symbol is food-specific, so it carries just as naturally into grocery and, later, home services.
